Fractured Retaining Wall Repair in Bremerton, WA

Challenge

This home in Bremerton, WA needed repairs to a 10′ retaining wall prior to the sale closing. The buyer’s agent called Matvey Foundation Repair to complete an inspection to see if the repairs were necessary. Matvey Construction’s design technician recommended repairing the fractured retaining wall by installing 4 12′ wall anchors and drilling 6 1 1/2″ weep holes to relieve hydro-static pressure.

Solution

The retaining wall was stabilized with the recommended amount of 4 anchors at a 5 kip capacity. Each anchor was installed at 19′ in length and 4-6′ deep. Our wall anchors provide both stabilization and capabilities to return the wall to its original position. The project was completed in one day and before their deadline.
