Cracks inside around window, also around door inside. Also noticed some slight noise walking on the floor in the spare room. Both rooms are at the rear of the house. Noticed small crack in foundation outside in the general area of these cracks. We live above an unstable hill side (which after decades of living here is supposedly going to be developed) neighbors are fighting this.

Front walkway into house concrete steps appear to be sagging with some cracking. Was poured in 2003 (expanded existing and replaced/repaired cracks). Downspout from gutter "cemented" into pad. Concerns that the water flow may have contributed to the cracking. Not sure what we need or how bad potentially it could get if we continue to do nothing.

We have noticed a lot of settling while redoing our kitchen (fridge seems to be sinking, uneven counters, small crack starting in the ceiling) and are unsure whether the house has just settled, or if it is more significant foundation issues. The previous owner did a lot of projects on his own so we also aren't sure if he did most stuff uneven. We would like to have someone take a look at it and give their opinion.

There is the slightest drop in floor of our "new" addition, roughly 5 years old. Indicators are slight variation in tile floor and a tell-tale gap between molding and a step. I think this settling might be a result of a drainage issue ... i.e., plugged drain tiles on our sloping lot leading to some soil instability. In any event, I am seeking at least two assessments, estimates, before proceeding to decide what to do. I'd like to hear from you. Thanks.
