Retaining Wall & Foundation Crack Repair For Your Seattle Home

Retaining walls serve to retain the lateral pressure of soil. More simply, retaining walls are used to hold back soil and substrate from moving due to the effects of gravity and erosion. However, due to the amount of stress that these walls are under they often crack, bow or become damaged. The ways that our crews take action and restore them is with two primary methods; we either use a wall anchor system or a helical tieback system to reinforce the structure. We have seen great results with these two systems and over the years we have streamlined and improved our process to the point of perfection.

Matvey Foundation Repair offers foundation repair, concrete slab lifting with PolyLevel, concrete sealing with SealantPro, retaining wall repair and structural engineering services in Seattle, Washington at a cost that will be affordable for you. We not only adhere to the highest industry standards, we strive to be the industry leader in the home improvement related services we provide. We also use state-of-the-art products and technology which are designed to fix your home at a price that you can afford. House is hinging at the center and is 4" off-level in one corner of the foundation and 2-3" off level in the opposite corner. Current foundation company completing work apparently was unaware of existing piers (despite having the original home plans, including the type of piers the home sat on) and did not level the home at all. So, we're stuck with a "stabilized" home and floors 4" off-level in places.

Hello, We own a 100+ year old house on Beacon Hill that has settling in one corner (unsure if it is actively changing) accompanied by some large foundation cracks. The heavy chimney is certainly part of this issue. We'd love to get someone out to take a look and suggest next steps to stabilize the situation. Thank you! Kathleen

We have cement front steps/porch to the front of the house that is leaning away from the front threshold. It also has some cracks in it so we are hoping it could be leveled and repaired. We would like to get a bid to see if that is a solution. Possible other projects: 2) a last cement step to the back yard that is tilted. 3) a sidewalk panel near the parking strip that has sunken down. I work from home so can accommodate most possible appointment times for a bid. Must have an appointment to come and give the bid.

My house has cracks in the cement, and my tenant has seem cracks in the walls form. If the house is moving, it could be the foundation. I need an assessment of the foundation's integrity.

We have a patio that has sunk about an inch or two and separated from the original concrete patio poured when the house was built. The abutting the patio a small area of the yard is also lower.
